Achievements

Leadership development of local women, due to which many women’s institutions have been formed in Deoghar district.

Many women are supporting the government in the form of Sevika, Sahayika, Sahia, Jal Sahia, Prerak, Catalyst, MNREGA Sevak, Mate, Panchayat representative etc.

The organization created many networks at the state level to advocate on issues such as women’s education, health, employment, rights over land and property, individual identity, participation in caste panchayat and panchayat system, witch-hunting, domestic violence resistance etc. and worked in association with many national networks –
such as Jharkhand Mahila Sangh, ‘National Alliance of Women’s Organization – Jharkhand unit, Jharkhand Mahila Swasthya Manch, Jharkhand Anti Trafficking Network, ‘Ekta Mahila Manch’, Forum to Engage Men, Men’s Participation for Equality against Violence

For advocacy, state level ‘Navo Jharkhand, MNREGA Watch, Food Security Campaign, ‘Jan Swasthya Abhiyan, Single Women Network’, national level network ‘Joint’ National Alliance for Maternal Health and Human Rights, ‘Lawyers Collective’, ‘Human Rights Law Network’, ‘Jagori Sangathan’ etc.

Worked to include and unite women working in other organizations across the state who are opposing harassment of themselves and other victimized women in one platform. This led to unity among women, collective protest, resistance, cooperation and construction.

Domestic violence, witch-hunting, child marriage, fraud marriage decreased due to united efforts through Jharkhand Mahila Manch. More than 5000 children were enrolled in schools. The condition of education in deprived communities, especially girl education and women literacy, improved a lot. Dropouts decreased, about 500 dropped out girls from Madhupur and Koron blocks alone got enrolled again.

Girls from deprived communities and minority communities are playing football and bicycle race in open grounds. Tribal girls are playing archery, which is a revolutionary achievement because according to tradition, touching bow and arrow is forbidden for girls.

Children, adolescents and women who were sold after being deceived were sent back home from Gaya, Mumbai, Pune, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi etc. With the help of Human Rights Law Network, Lawyers Collectives and Jagori, many victims were given legal aid from lower courts to the High Court and the Supreme Court.

स्थानीय महिलाओं के नेतृत्व विकास जिससे देवघर जिले में कई महिला संस्था संगठनों का निर्माण हुआ है। 

कई महिलायें सेविका, सहायिका, सहिया, जल सहिया, प्रेरक, उत्प्रेरक, मनरेगा सेवक, मेट, पंचायत प्रतिनिधि आदि के रूप में सरकार को सहयोग दे रही है।

संस्था ने महिला शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, रोजगार, जमीन व सम्पत्ति पर अधिकार, व्यक्तिगत पहचान, जाति पंचायत तथा पंचायत व्यवस्था में भागीदारी, डायन उत्पीड़न, घरेलु हिंसा प्रतिरोध आदि मुददे पर पैरवी के लिये राज्य स्तर पर कई नेटवर्क का निर्माण किया और कई राष्ट्रीय नेटवर्क से जुड़कर काम किया – 

जैसे झारखंड महिला संघ, ‘नेशनल एलायन्स आफ चुमेन्स ऑर्गेनाइजेशन – झारखंड ईकाइ, झारखंड महिला स्वास्थ्य मंच, झारखंड एन्टी ट्रेफिकिंग नेटवर्क, ‘एकता महिला मंच, फोरम टु एनगेज मेन, हिंसा के विरूद्ध समानता के लिये पुरुषों की भागीदारी

पैरवी के लिये राज्य स्तरीय ‘नावो झारखंड, मनरेगा वॉच, खाद्य सुरक्षा अभियान, ‘जन स्वास्थ्य अभियान, एकल महिला नेटवर्क राष्ट्र स्तरीय नेटवर्क से जुडाव’ नेशनल एलायन्स फॉर मेटरनल हेल्थ एंड ह्यूमन राइटस, ‘लॉयर्स कलेक्टिव, ‘ह्यूमन राइटस लॉ नेटवर्क, ‘जागोरी संगठन. आदि।

राज्य भर में अन्य संस्थाओं में काम कर रहे महिलाओं व्यक्ति महिलायें जो अपने और दुसरे पिड़ीत महिलाओं के उत्पीड़न का विरोध कर रहे हो उन्हे एक मंच में शामिल करने, संघबद्ध करने का काम किया | इससे महिलाओं में एकजुटता बनी, सामुहिक प्रतिवाद, प्रतिरोध, सहयोग और निर्माण का काम हुआ। 

झारखंड महिला मंच के माध्यम से संघबद्ध प्रयास से घरेलु हिंसा, डायन उत्पीडन, बाल विवाह, ठगी विवाह कम हुआ। 5000 से अधिक बच्चों को विद्यालयों में दाखिला करवाया बंचित समुदाय में शिक्षा के स्थिति विशेषतः बालिका शिक्षा एवं महिला साक्षरता की स्थिति में काफी सुधार आया। छिजन कम हुआ, सिर्फ मधुपूर एवं कोरों प्रखंड से लगभग 500 छिजित बच्चियां पुनः दाखिला ली। 

वंचित समुदाय के एव अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय की बच्चियां खुले मैदान में फुटबॉल खेल रही है साइकिल रेस खेल रही है। आदिवासी लड़कियां तीरंदाजी खेल रही है, जो एक कांतिकारी उपलब्धि है क्योंकि परम्परा के अनुसार तीर धनुष छुना लड़‌किओं के लिए वर्जित है। 

घोखा देकर बेचे गये बच्चे, किशोरियां और महिलाओं को गया, मुम्बई, पुणे, हरियाना, उ.प्र.. दिल्ली आदि स्थानों से घर वापस किया गया ह्यूमन राइटस लॉ नेटवर्क और लॉयर्स कलेक्टिवस एवं जागोरी के सहायता से कई पीडिता को लोअर कोर्ट से लेकर हाईकोर्ट एवं सुप्रीम कोर्ट तक की कानूनी सहायता दिया गया।
