Major Objectives of the Organisation
1. To develop self reliance and self respect among women and downtrodden segments.
2. To organize them for political participation and formation of equity based policies on Education, Health & Employment.
3. To provide skills for sustainable development.
4. To work as a catalyst for women’s groups in Bihar working towards the process of change and development with humanitarian perspectives.
Vision for Women’s Development
Women should be given equal participation-rights in all kinds of decision making processes at all levels through special reservation.
Women should get adequate opportunities within family responsibilities and household work to increase and enrich their knowledge and to meet the political and social responsibilities.
Women should be recognised with Individual Identity.
Responsibility of feeding the children and the family rests on women. Hence, they should have equal rights on all family resources and properties and no transfer of property can be affected without their due consent.
Women are displaced naturally from their parental home and familiar environment through marriage. Therefore, special provisions such as their right on parental house and property, should be assured.
All rules and regulations regarding women’s right must be applied universally to all women without discrimination of caste, creed and community.

महिलाओं के बौद्धिक और राजनीतिक सशक्तिकरण के माध्यम से मानवतावादी, न्यायपूर्ण और समता आधारित समाज की ओर अग्रसर होना।
संगठन के प्रमुख उद्देश्य
- महिलाओं और वंचित वर्गों में आत्मनिर्भरता और आत्मसम्मान विकसित करना।
- उन्हें राजनीतिक भागीदारी के लिए संगठित करना और शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और रोजगार पर समता आधारित नीतियों का निर्माण करना।
- सतत विकास के लिए कौशल प्रदान करना।
- बिहार में महिला समूहों के लिए उत्प्रेरक के रूप में कार्य करना जो मानवीय दृष्टिकोण के साथ परिवर्तन और विकास की प्रक्रिया की दिशा में काम कर रहे हैं।
महिला विकास के लिए विजन
विशेष आरक्षण के माध्यम से सभी स्तरों पर सभी प्रकार की निर्णय लेने की प्रक्रियाओं में महिलाओं को समान भागीदारी-अधिकार दिए जाने चाहिए।
महिलाओं को पारिवारिक जिम्मेदारियों और घरेलू कामों में अपने ज्ञान को बढ़ाने और समृद्ध करने और राजनीतिक और सामाजिक जिम्मेदारियों को पूरा करने के लिए पर्याप्त अवसर मिलने चाहिए।
महिलाओं को व्यक्तिगत पहचान के साथ पहचाना जाना चाहिए।
बच्चों और परिवार के भरण-पोषण की जिम्मेदारी महिलाओं पर है। इसलिए, उन्हें सभी पारिवारिक संसाधनों और संपत्तियों पर समान अधिकार होना चाहिए और उनकी उचित सहमति के बिना संपत्ति का कोई हस्तांतरण नहीं किया जा सकता है।
महिलाएं विवाह के माध्यम से अपने पैतृक घर और परिचित वातावरण से स्वाभाविक रूप से विस्थापित होती हैं। इसलिए, पैतृक घर और संपत्ति पर उनके अधिकार जैसे विशेष प्रावधान सुनिश्चित किए जाने चाहिए।
महिलाओं के अधिकार से संबंधित सभी नियम और कानून जाति, पंथ और समुदाय के भेदभाव के बिना सभी महिलाओं पर सार्वभौमिक रूप से लागू होने चाहिए।
